The Kodiak Books

Lee’s suspense-filled adventure series follows the danger-fraught exploits of cryptozoologist George Kodiak, as he traverses the globe researching animal anomalies such as the Sasquatch and the Loch Ness Monster. Based upon years of scientific research and personal exploration, this series takes the subject of cryptozoology and attempts to go deeper than the usual “monster on the loose” or “young, misunderstood child befriends large, misunderstood, anthropomorphic creature” type stories.

“I try to get across what these animals might really be, often by basing them upon known species which are believed extinct, but known from the fossil record. Even though the stories are fiction, I try to give the reader a feeling of having really seen these animals, touched them, discovered something about them for themselves so that they may even decide to go an explore the many non-fiction books available.”

Future books in the series will include such animals as the Chupacabras, and Mokele mbembe, the living dinosaur of darkest Africa. While George Kodiak’s specialization is cryptozoology, deal with many of Lee’s paranormal interests such as ghosts and UFOs.
